About COPHIX

COPHIX is the new internet exchange point situated in Copenhagen, Denmark. COPHIX is a neutral and independent peerint point. Our services includes public peering and private interconnections. Members are able to connect at three different locations, all located within Copenhagen; network

and available ports;

Infrastructure

Our infrastructure is built throughout multiple independent locations in the Copenhagen region. Co-location services for members are available in these facilities, but this is not part of the COPHIX services.

All nodes will have at least 1Gigabit Ethernet capacity between each other running on CWDM circuits or Dark Fiber, which in future will be upgraded to TenGigabit. To minimize the internal cabling costs of our members, COPHIX will be installing ODFs and patch panels in the Meet-me-Room of each facility.

How much does it cost?

Since COPHIX is in its start basis, it is currently free to connect to COPHIX platform until a pricing scheme is available. A pricing scheme will be suggested to all members when significant amount of members are connected. There will only be a monthly charge for the port, no membership fee or any other hidden charges.
